Director
BA (Hons) BArch MA (Arch) ADPP RIBA
Simon is a Director at LOM with over 20 years of experience in delivering innovative projects across all of our sectors. He also leads the practice’s Sustainability, EDI and Wellbeing agendas and contributes to industry thought and design leadership.

With his passion for innovation, Simon creates and delivers high quality designs and strategies for clients across all of our project sectors. Since joining LOM in 2000, as well as delivering many key workplace and education projects, he had led the development of LOM’s work  in the residential and hospitality sectors, and sees the growth of cross-sector design as being incredibly important in developing new ways of working, learning and living.

Simon has worked on projects across London, the UK and Europe, as well as working on projects across the world, leading projects in Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean. He has been a judge for the FX Awards, chairs a Special Interest Group on Hospitality, and has been an Expert Assessor for the NLA’s Workplace Awards. As a director of the practice, he leads on developing and delivering LOM’s Sustainability, EDI and Wellbeing agendas.

Simon studied at the Manchester School of Architecture and completed a Masters research degree in architecture concerning the impact of networked media on physical space (before social media existed). He has also taught architecture at degree level at both the University of Greenwich and The Bartlett School of Architecture, and is now leading LOM’s outreach work with City College London.
