Tom is an experienced and influential Architect who provides design leadership across LOM’s portfolio. He has a successful track record in the design and delivery of innovative architectural and interior design concepts, and has led the design of key projects including the interior design of Santander UK’s landmark head office campus at Unity place, Milton Keynes. Other recent projects include Barn X for Microsoft, The Heart Building, and Cedars Youth and Community Centre.
Tom is passionate about experience-led design, creating inspiring and sustainable places for people to live, work and learn. He leads LOM’s panel on Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity research and is particularly interested in how we can improve neurodivergent people’s interactions with the built environment.
Tom studied at the Oxford School of Architecture and won first prize in the 1994 British Steel Architectural Awards. Before joining LOM he worked with the Oxfordshire NHS Trust on healthcare projects, and residential work including barn conversions, private swimming pools and listed building refurbishments. His interests include science and engineering, visiting new countries, motorbike racing and furniture design.
