This new flexible working environment is layered with a series of multi-use work settings designed to accommodate the needs of the highly creative Open Experience team.
The design stripped back the space to its original structural shell – exposing columns, concrete soffits and reconfiguring the space to create a flexible new layout.
Breakout areas have been identified with consideration to natural lighting and plants have been added, supporting wellbeing and creating a richer staff experience.
A series of mobile acoustic panels have been used through the space to create separate areas within the floor that the OX team occupies, alongside the wider NatWest digital team.
Write-on magnetic fixed panels and sliding doors have been added to create brainstorming areas supporting impromptu meetings.
A 60-seat presentation room allows for larger team meetings, events and engagement with the wider business.
“Open Experience is a human-centric approach to innovation, and one method for creating the future. It can be used for everything from designing new products to finding new ways of connecting with customers.”
