James is a Senior Associate at LOM with nearly two decades of experience in architecture and interior design. His career spans a wide range of sectors including commercial, hospitality, leisure, education, and banking, with clients such as HSBC, United Arab Bank, Harrods, Morrisons, NatWest and Coutts. James is recognised as an all-round designer who combines strong creative vision with a detailed understanding of technical delivery and buildability.

Notable achievements at LOM include leading the fit-out of HSBC’s new 300,000 sqft Middle East headquarters in Downtown Dubai, designing the £200m Business Bay Towers, and developing workplace strategies for international banking networks across the Middle East and Africa. In the UK he led the building and workplace transformation at Coutts and Co’s historic head office in London. In the public sector he has overseen the delivery of multiple new primary schools for Harrow Council.

James studied Architecture at Newcastle University, and before joining LOM he worked with practices in London and Liverpool, completing architectural and interiors projects for Harrods, Hilton DoubleTree, the Port of Liverpool and Hampton Community School.
