LOM is shaped by its people. A friendly, unpretentious and passionate team, we have created a progressive, collaborative workplace that we are proud of. We believe in developing and celebrating talent, building a diverse and inclusive team for the long-term, guided by an evolving Action Plan led by our EDI Working Group.
Life in the studio operates at a dynamic pace that is underpinned by shared learning and mutual support. We encourage growth at every stage of a career, from early work experience and student placements to apprenticeships and professional development.
Team members are supported through qualifications, mentoring and clear pathways for progression with a focus on leadership that reflects the diversity of our wider community.
We believe in opening doors into architecture. Through partnerships such as Open City’s Accelerate programme, Level 6 and 7 apprenticeships and mentoring, we help to create access to the profession for people from all backgrounds.
Alongside training, we invest in ongoing conversations around inclusive design, supported by talks, articles and design reviews that challenge us to think differently.
Beyond the studio we advocate for representation and inclusion across the built environment. We see it as our responsibility to amplify a wider range of voices and support initiatives such as the London Speakers Pledge and the NLA Diverse Leaders Pledge with this in mind. We also engage directly with communities through design and outreach. By mentoring, offering placements and supporting schools and universities, we are helping to build a more representative profession.
Creating a healthy working culture is integral to delivering successful projects and maintaining a happy team environment.
Join our team and shape the future with us. We value creativity, collaboration and a culture where everyone can thrive.
