On Thursday 25th June, we opened the doors of our Shoreditch Studio as part of the London Festival of Architecture Open Studio, welcoming collaborators, clients and friends to celebrate this year’s theme – ‘Belonging’.

Our exhibition explored this year’s theme through two interconnected installations, bringing together the individual perspectives of our team and the spaces we create.
Through individual voices, we invite members of the studio to reflect on what belonging means to then, both personally and from a design perspective. Their responses, displayed as a tetrahedral installation, highlighted the range of experiences and viewpoints across our team, and the role these play in shaping the way we think about design.

Our second installation, Shared Spaces, used the familiar graphic language of the London underground map to connect a selection of projects from across our portfolio. Spanning locations from Paris to London, it reflected the diversity of our work while highlighting the shared thinking behind each project.
From design guidelines created for Accor, to Barn X for a Global Technology Company, the installation explored how each project responds to its own place, people and purpose, creating environments that foster connection and a genuine sense of belonging.

We want to hear your voice:
As part of the event, we invited guests to reflect on w here they feel they belong and what their workplace could do better to ensure they are captivating that sense of belonging.
We’d love to hear your thoughts too. Please take a moment to complete our short anonymous survey below and share your perspectives. Conversation starter – Mentimeter
